This provides additional value to our customers through enhanced functionality and/or ease of deployment. Our partners work with us in a co-sell relationship that drives revenue for both organizations.
Business Objects partners with leading software and hardware companies to create solution kits and other technologies that support and extend the Business Objects business intelligence (BI) platform. Business Objects complementary technology partners benefit from our market leadership, financial strength, and worldwide recognition as a BI leader.
Through this program, complementary technology partners can increase:
Drive new sales deals and increase revenue. Gain higher visibility in the marketplace with customers and the Business Objects field sales organisation.
Get access to software for developing, testing, and demonstrations. Create better, more integrated technology that supports and increases the satisfaction of end-users.
The recognized, exclusive technology partner logo makes marketing your technology and company even easier.
Benefits include free development and demonstration software licenses, access to the partner extranet, exclusive events, partner newsletters, and the technology partner logo. Opportunities are also available for complementary technology partners to sponsor events, take part in marketing programs, and obtain quotes for press purposes.
Complementary technology partners must agree to partner with Business Objects in a co-sell relationship. This includes designating an alliance manager, executive sponsor, and alliance marketing resource within the organisation.
Technology must be validated by Business Objects within one year of joining the program. Complementary technology partners must also produce at least two success stories per year of a joint customer using Business Objects technology. An annual program fee is due.
